Surefire Outdoor Designs runs two install crews of two to three people each, a dedicated estimator who runs the quotes, and two people on logistics and material.
What that means for you: the person who quotes your job is not the person swinging the hammer, so your price isn't being set by whoever shows up to dig. And material shows up when it's supposed to, because two people's whole job is making sure of that.
